We are best friends who enjoy—among many things— family time, good design, and a solid British docuseries.Â
As you can see, it's just the two of us so far. For years, we have hoped, planned, and prepared to grow our family. We are blessed to have come from loving families that taught us the value of faith, hard work, patience, a good attitude and finding joy in the journey. We are so excited to grow our family through adoption.
If you would like to learn more about us and our desire to adopt, please reach out. We'd love to hear from you.
First off, as two people who didn't immediately hit it off on our very first (blind) date, we are big believers in second chances! But, don't worry, we've had plenty of opportunities to hit it off for the past ten years.
Dress up for a movie?
I thought you'd never ask! We're always happy to dive into our favorite fantasy or sci-fi universe.Make costumes?
Of course. While we can’t claim that everyone agrees, our nephews and nieces think we are a good time... or at least entertaining.ÂHang with the fam?
Always. Our best and happiest times are spent with loved ones. We'll take any opportunity for more family time.Get outta here?
Why not? Utah is great! Whether gardening, camping, hiking, walking, or biking, we'll take any opportunity for outside time,We believe in loving Heavenly Parents who inspire us to be better and kinder every day. We believe that our purpose is to love and serve others, hopefully leaving the world a better place. We want to be able to do good in our families and communities. We love to serve in our neighborhood and with our church. We believe in the importance of education and want to make lifelong learning part of our family life. We believe that God’s plan for us includes growing our family and are willing to work hard to help that happen.Â
One of the things I admire most about Seth is that he is just a truly GOOD man. Much of Seth’s goodness springs from his ability to love: to love me, to love his family, to love others, and to love God. His willingness to serve and put aside his own needs has blessed my life and the lives of others, but it gives me a glimpse of the father he will become.
He has always been curious, inventive, and creative, with a love for drawing, painting, and building. In fact, he built our first kitchen table, his own unique design. He has an eye for seeing the good and the beautiful all around him and a strong desire to contribute good things to the world. Â
Seth is also a huge fan of puns, which he considers an essential fatherly skill. Although they are usually terrible, I still think he is a super man (pun intended).
Frankly, there isn’t anyone you couldn’t learn to love once you’ve heard their story.
— Fred Rogers
Kimberly is a Renaissance Woman: extremely knowledgeable and talented in many different subjects. She has a profound love of learning. Couple that love of learning with her fantastic imagination, and it is easy to see why children love being with her.
Kimberly has a gift for sparking the imagination of children and creating a haven where they are comfortable sharing their thoughts, ideas, creativity, and dreams. When playing with kids, she draws upon her depth of knowledge to teach them about the things that they are interested in, whether it be animals, dinosaurs, literature, science, art, technology, or music. You name it!
Her big heart extends beyond her love of children and family. She deeply cares about people and wants them to succeed. Kimberly finds great joy in giving, especially when the gift helps someone step closer to reaching their full potential.
‘Business!’ cried the Ghost, wringing its hands again. ‘Mankind was my business; charity, mercy, forbearance, and benevolence, were, all, my business. The dealings of my trade were but a drop of water in the comprehensive ocean of my business!’
— Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol

To explore and support talents, interests, and strengths through education and personal development.
To foster a love of learning and a diligent work ethic.
To cultivate a sense of gratitude and community through learning and service.
To promote imagination, creativity, exploration, and play in our home.
To involve our children with a loving and supportive extended family.
To establish meaningful connections with birth families and heritage that will foster self-worth and identity
